Donnell Probst is an emerging media literacy educator and communication professional. She is active in the media literacy community as the vice president of the board of directors at Gateway Media Literacy Partners (GMLP), and a member of the Student Leadership Council for the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE). She has presented at numerous conferences about the intersection of disabilities and media. As a communication professional, she curates media literacy content for the NAMLE Monthly Update which is distributed to 3,500 subscribers worldwide, and is currently restructuring the communication vision and processes for GMLP. 

Donnell is a candidate for the Masters of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University and will graduate in May 2018. She also holds a BA in Mass Communication and Media Studies from the Arizona State University Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
